Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 2025

RevGrowth (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website (https://www.revgrowth.co.za/) (the “Site”) and use the Site’s online booking system and online store.

By accessing the Site or using our services, you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Site.

1. Scope and Applicability

  • This policy is designed to comply with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (“POPIA”) and any other relevant legislation.

  • It covers all personal information processed through the Site, including data captured via booking forms, checkout pages, cookies, and third-party tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Ads, Meta Pixel, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag.

  • It also applies to information shared with our payment providers (Yoco and iKhokha), advertising or analytics partners, and authorised marketing partners.

2. Personal Information We Collect

  • Contact details such as name, e-mail address, telephone number, and organisation (if supplied).

  • Booking details including the service booked, preferred date and time, and any notes you add.

  • Purchase and payment data such as items ordered, order value, transaction ID, and billing or VAT information supplied to Yoco or iKhokha (card details are tokenised and never stored on our servers).

  • Usage and analytics data including IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time and date of access, referring URL, and click-path information collected via cookies and pixels.

  • Marketing and advertising data derived from your interaction with our ads on Google, Facebook/Instagram, and LinkedIn.

3. How We Collect Information

  • Directly from you when you complete a booking, make a purchase, create an account, sign up for e-mails, or contact us.

  • Automatically through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies whenever you browse the Site.

  • From third parties, for example payment confirmation from Yoco/iKhokha or aggregated audience insights from Google, Meta, or LinkedIn.

4. Purposes for Data Processing

  • Confirming and managing your bookings or purchases.

  • Processing payments and providing access to virtual products.

  • Communicating with you about orders, bookings, account issues, or customer support enquiries.

  • Operating, maintaining, and improving the Site and its functionality.

  • Analysing Site performance and user behaviour with GA4 to enhance our services.

  • Serving, tailoring, and measuring advertising via Google Ads, Meta Platforms, and LinkedIn.

  • Sending newsletters or marketing updates where you have given consent.

  • Fulfilling legal, tax, or regulatory obligations.

5. Lawful Bases

We rely on one or more of the following lawful grounds under POPIA:

  • Your consent, where you have agreed to receive marketing communications or accept cookies that are not strictly necessary.

  • Contractual necessity, for processing bookings, sales, or steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.

  • Legal obligation, where we must retain or disclose information to comply with the law.

  • Legitimate interests, such as improving our services or protecting our business, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.

6. Sharing Your Information

  • Payment processors (Yoco or iKhokha) receive the information needed to complete your transaction and comply with card-industry security standards.

  • Advertising and analytics partners (Google, Meta, LinkedIn) receive usage data via cookies and pixels to deliver targeted ads and performance reports.

  • Authorised marketing partners and other service providers receive limited information under strict contractual instructions to run campaigns, host the Site, or provide cloud storage.

  • Business transfers may involve sharing data if we merge, sell, or reorganise part of our company.

  • Legal disclosures may occur if required to protect our rights or comply with a court order.

  • We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

  • We use essential cookies to operate core features such as login sessions, baskets, and checkout.

  • Analytics cookies (GA4) measure traffic and help us understand how visitors use the Site.

  • Advertising cookies and pixels allow Google, Meta, and LinkedIn to serve relevant ads and track conversions.

  • You can disable or delete cookies in your browser settings, though doing so may affect Site functionality. Each advertising platform also offers its own opt-out mechanisms.

8. Data Storage and Security (Updated for Wix-Hosted Sites)

  • Hosting platform. The Site is built and hosted on the Wix platform. All content, bookings and store transactions are therefore stored in Wix’s own cloud infrastructure rather than on RevGrowth’s local servers.

  • Data-centre locations. Wix currently stores personal information in data centres located in the United States and Ireland and may process it in Israel (Wix’s headquarters) and other jurisdictions such as Japan, South Korea or Taiwan, depending on redundancy and load-balancing needs.

  • Cross-border safeguards. Israel has been recognised by the European Commission as offering an “adequate” level of data protection. For any additional transfers outside South Africa, Wix relies on Standard Contractual Clauses and similar contractual mechanisms to ensure that POPIA-level protections travel with the data.

  • Security measures. Wix employs industry-standard safeguards—including HTTPS encryption, web application firewalls, DDoS protection, strict physical access controls and regular backups—to protect data against unauthorised access, alteration or loss. RevGrowth further secures the Wix dashboard by enforcing strong passwords, two-factor authentication and role-based user permissions.

  • Sub-processors. Where Wix engages third-party processors (for example, global CDN providers), those parties are bound by contractual data-protection obligations consistent with Wix’s own security standards.

  • Local copies. RevGrowth may occasionally export booking or order data (for example, to integrate with accounting software). Such exports are held on encrypted drives accessible only to authorised personnel and are deleted as soon as operationally feasible

9. Retention

  • We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law (e.g. tax records).

  • When data is no longer needed, we securely delete it or render it anonymous.

10. Your Rights

Under POPIA you may:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you.

  • Ask us to correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data.

  • Request deletion where processing is no longer required or lawful.

  • Object to certain processing, including direct marketing.

  • Withdraw consent at any time when consent is the basis for processing.
To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 11. Proof of identity may be required.
